A poem for no one
A poem for a lover with nobody to love
Is like a gift that no heart will deceive
Everybody’s looking for a God up above
A form of bliss, we all hope to receive
Hot summer kisses as we stand in the rain
May the sweat clear us all of our sins
Everybody seeking to get rid of the pain
But it starts by turning within
A booklet full of words that nobody will read
Is like a song that has never been sung
Maybe in the future we will start to concede
That our love has already begun
