Goethe sentence
When I was 9 I fought a lot
Got punishments in class
My teacher made me memorize
Some poetry en masse
For every sentence one more verse
And say it all aloud
In front of everybody,
it was worse then than it sounds
All in german, I was foreign
Struggled with the words sometimes
And on my poem numbered ten
I had to learn some Goethe rhymes
I still remember some of it,
The earl king in the wind
The first one I still know by heart
My testament of sins
And had I not
Been punished with a poem for a punch
I guess Iād never learn to rhyme,
But that is just a hunch
Either way, so filled with shame
I learned I must perform
For any action, right or wrong
A narcissist was born
