The Town with no Name

Deep inside the sorrows of a town with no name

How could we ever be found?

If every villager is drinking to the point of no shame

My highest bet will be joining the crowd

And every playground friend

And every high school crush

Still talk like we’re back in the days

But even friendships may end

I’m in a pride-fueled rush

I walk in the valley of blame

A little mountain air

I’m starting to care

About the people in the town of no name

I pass as they stare,

They keep asking me where

I get around in the town that I blame
